A picture is worth a thousand words

A picture is worth a thousand words is an idiom referring to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed in a single picture. The author of Freakonomics reported that the original saying was actually “a picture is worth ten thousand words”. Either phrase might give a blogger pause. I would venture to assume that most bloggers agree a successful blog consists of both; engaging words and pictures. As newbie bloggers, we are appreciative of the kind and supportive responses we have received. Comments have been extremely positive with the dreaded addition of the word “but”… quoting: “I love it, BUT more pictures please”. So, here you go…pictures…

We could not believe it was true when we saw a photo of this place on the MLS. Believe it or not, as bad as it looks, we thought this was a dream come true. We are inspired by our vision for what will be:

This magazine was retrieved from stacks of books, magazines, and newspapers. We kept this one to give to our fishing enthusiast brother-in-law Chuck because this guy is his doppelganger. The money was the only monetary treasure found. We sifted through boxes of old receipts and checks in hopes of finding a cash stash, but this was the extent of it.
